Terms And Conditions
The terms and conditions are an integral part of the rental agreement between AL HURR CAR RENTAL – L.L.C “The Company” as the First Party and the ‘Renter’ as the Second Party). |

1. It is the Renter's responsibility to ensure that all information and data stated in the agreement are accurate, without any responsibility against the company. |
2. The Renter undertakes to return the vehicle to the company and deliver it to the responsible employee in good condition as received, immediately upon the expiration of the agreement period, and to pay all due amounts. |
3. Renters or drivers must hold a valid driving license that is accepted by the United Arab Emirates authorities. |
4. The Renter undertakes to pay the full rental amount upon signing the agreement. |
5. The Renter must inform the sales representative of any special requirements before signing the agreement, and in this case, an additional amount will be added to the rental value. |
6. The Renter must drive, use and take care of the car following the laws of the United Arab Emirates, the standards & norms followed in this regard and the conditions of this agreement. The Renter is responsible for damages and obligations caused by a violation, while the company does not assume responsibility. |
7. Drivers or Renters must be at least 21 years old. |
8. The company reserves the right to remotely control the vehicle, prevent its operation, and reclaim the vehicle at any time in case of non-payment of the rent or violation by the Renter of any of the terms and conditions of this agreement or the law. |
9. Speed must not exceed 160 km/hr. In case of violation, the Renter will be warned the first time, a fine of AED 1,500 will be imposed on the Renter the second time, and the vehicle will be stopped and returned the third time. The Renter will not have the right to get any amount paid in advance. |
10. It is not allowed to drive the vehicle in the desert, on unpaved roads, and on racetracks. In the case of violation, the Renter must pay AED 25,000 plus the costs of the damages caused to the car. |
11. The Renter must not place any advertising materials, posters, or wrapping papers on the vehicle without the company's prior consent. In such a case, the Renter must pay an amount of AED 15,000. |
12. The company is not responsible for any personal belongings forgotten or lost in the vehicle. |

13. It is not allowed to drive the vehicle outside the territorial borders of the United Arab Emirates. In case of violation, the Renter must return the car immediately and pay all expenses in addition to AED 50,000. |

14. The agreement provides the number of kilometers allowed to drive. In case of exceeding them, the Renter must pay an extra amount (mentioned in the agreement) for every additional kilometer. |

15. All cars of the company are insured per the applicable law. |
16. The insurance type must be determined when signing the agreement. |
17. Types of insurance:

18. Basic Insurance: It covers damages, losses, and injuries resulting from accidents.
|
19.Comprehensive Insurance (CDW): It covers damages, losses, and injuries resulting from accidents.
|
20. Premium Comprehensive insurance (SCDW): It covers damages, losses, and injuries resulting from accidents, and the Renter does not bear any additional amounts. |
21. The Renter undertakes to inform the company and the police immediately upon the occurrence of a traffic accident or damage to the vehicle, and to obtain an official report and submit it to the company. |
22. Insurance does not cover any accidents or damages that occur in the desert, on unpaved roads, or in case the driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any mind-altering substances. The Renter shall be responsible for repairing the damages and the rental period of the vehicle during the repair, with full responsibility. |
23. Insurance does not cover damages to the interior cabin of the vehicle, tires, rims, and any damages resulting from misuse, which shall be borne by the Renter. Additionally, the rental value shall be borne during the repair period. |
24. Insurance does not cover the loss of the car key, which shall be borne by the Renter, with a minimum cost of a replacement key being AED 3,000. |
25. Insurance does not cover any personal or financial penalties imposed by a judicial ruling on the Renter. |
26. The Renter agrees to inspect the vehicle upon receiving it and ensure that all pre-existing damages are recorded in the Vehicle Condition Report (VCR). |
27. In case of an accident, the agreement will automatically terminate without any refunds or replacement of the vehicle, even if the Renter is not at fault for the accident. |
28. In the event of an accident involving two or more of our clients, agreements will automatically terminate, and they are not entitled to any refunds. Comprehensive and Premium Comprehensive insurances will be void, and each client will be fined AED 25,000 in addition to the terms of the Basic Insurance. |
29. The Renter is not allowed to repair the vehicle or perform any maintenance on it by themselves or through others without written approval from the company. In case of violation, the Renter shall bear the cost of all damages that may occur to the vehicle. |
30. The Renter undertakes to pay for the vehicle repair cost or the vehicle's value (in case of total loss) if the insurance company refuses to cover it due to a violation of insurance terms or the law. |
31. The Renter undertakes to bear responsibility for any damages not covered by insurance that may occur to the vehicle during the rental period. |
32. The Renter undertakes to pay 30% of the vehicle's value specified in the insurance policy in case of theft of the vehicle. |

33.One day is defined as 24 hours, starting from the agreement signing time and ending at the same time the next day. |
34. A grace period of two hours (2) is granted at the vehicle return time, and any delay is counted as a full day. |
35. The Renter must comply with the specified rental duration in the agreement, and in case of early vehicle return, the Renter is not entitled to a refund for the remaining rental period. |
36. Vehicle return is not allowed on public holidays, and in case of vehicle return, the Renter bears the cost of an additional one-day rental. |
37. The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel it was rented with, and in case of non-compliance, the Renter bears the cost of the fuel. |
38. In case of reservation cancellation, the Renter bears the rental cost for the reserved period. |

39. Payments and Other Fees: |

40. A refundable deposit of AED 1,500 is collected from the Renter at the time of car rental. The amount collected will be refunded through the same collection method after settling unpaid fees such as traffic violations, tolls, fuel, etc., if applicable. |
41. The deposit amount is reserved for 30 days from the vehicle return date. |
42. The Renter bears any fees deducted by the bank for refunding the deposit and currency exchange differences. The Renter is responsible for completing the deposit refund form with all necessary details without any liability on the company. The Renter can contact the company via email at Depositrefund@alhurrcarrental.ae, mentioning the agreement number in the subject line in case of difficulty in refunding the deposit. |

43. The Renter undertakes to pay road tolls during the rental period. |
44. The Renter undertakes to pay the value of traffic violations during the rental period upon receiving notification of violations from the company. |
45. The Renter undertakes to bear car reservation fees, car reservation release fees, and rental charges during the car reservation period in case the car is reserved by the police or any other entity. |

46. Value Added Tax (VAT) is collected on all payments. |

47. The Renter must return the vehicle in the same clean condition as received. Failure to do so will result in a charge of AED 150. |
48. Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle. In case of violation, the Renter will be charged AED 150. |
49. Pets are not allowed inside the vehicle. In case of dirt, animal traces, or damages, the Renter will bear the cleaning and repair costs. |

50. This agreement is subject to the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this agreement. |
